Terms & Conditions — Next Gen Founders

Read this before you register and submit your idea.

By paying the registration fee, submitting your idea or participating in the Next Gen Founders program (powered by TUCSI), you agree to the terms and conditions listed below.

1. Introduction

Next Gen Founders is an entrepreneurship and seed-funding initiative operated by TUCSI Foundation and TUCSI Business Ventures Pvt. Ltd.. The program is designed to support idea-stage and early-stage founders with funding, mentorship and startup-building support.

By using this website, registering, or submitting your idea, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the program, you must:

  • Be an individual (student, homemaker, working professional, unemployed youth, etc.) in India.
  • Submit only one idea per registration. Multiple ideas require separate registrations.
  • Submit original, self-owned ideas that do not violate any third-party rights.

TUCSI reserves the right to accept, reject, or disqualify any application at its sole discretion.

3. Registration Fee (Non-Refundable)

To submit an idea, you must complete your registration by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000.

  • On payment, you receive a Registration ID and a digital Registration Receipt (PDF).
  • This receipt is mandatory for idea submission and future verification.
  • The fee does not guarantee selection, funding, or onboarding.

Under no circumstances (including rejection, non-selection, withdrawal or incomplete submission) will the registration fee be refunded.

4. Idea Submission & Documents

To complete your idea submission, you must send:

  • PDF Idea Document (Title, Problem, Solution, Market, Revenue Model, Budget, Vision, etc.).
  • Video Pitch (2–5 minutes) explaining the idea in simple language.
  • Registration Receipt, Aadhar / ID proof, and updated contact details.

All documents must be emailed to submit@nextgenfounders.in using the subject line: “Idea Submission – Your Name – Idea Title”.

Submissions that are incomplete, incorrect, or without valid Registration Receipt may be rejected.

5. Screening & Evaluation

All valid submissions are reviewed by the TUCSI Innovation Panel. The panel may evaluate your idea based on:

  • Innovation and originality
  • Market potential and scalability
  • Feasibility and execution readiness
  • Social or economic impact
  • Clarity of your PDF and video pitch

Shortlisting is competitive and limited. TUCSI is not obligated to provide individual feedback on rejected or non-selected ideas.

6. Seed Funding & Startup Support

Selected founders may be offered seed funding between ₹50,000 to ₹5,00,000, along with possible:

  • Mentorship and strategic guidance.
  • Startup incorporation and legal documentation support.
  • Branding, website design and digital marketing assistance.
  • Access to the TUCSI founder and mentor network.

The exact amount of funding and nature of support will depend on the idea, stage, risk level, and mutual agreement between the founder and TUCSI.

7. Equity / Profit-Sharing Model

In order to make the program sustainable, selected founders must agree to one of the following models:

  • Equity Sharing: TUCSI may hold 2% – 10% equity in your startup, proportional to the support and funding provided.
  • Profit Sharing: You may agree to share 5% – 15% of net profits for a defined period (usually 3 years).

Exact terms, percentages and duration will be finalised in a separate legal agreement, mutually discussed and signed with the founder.

8. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property

TUCSI treats all submissions as confidential and uses them only for evaluation and program purposes. However:

  • Founders are responsible for protecting their own IP (e.g., patents, trademarks, etc.).
  • TUCSI is not liable for ideas that may be similar to other concepts in the market.
  • You confirm that your idea does not infringe on any third-party rights.

9. Disqualification & Misrepresentation

TUCSI may disqualify any participant without refund if:

  • False, misleading or fabricated information is submitted.
  • The idea is found to be plagiarised, stolen, or illegal.
  • Any unethical, abusive or fraudulent activity is identified.

10. Changes, Updates & Legal Jurisdiction

TUCSI reserves the right to modify program structure, funding range, criteria or these Terms & Conditions at any time, without prior notice.

Any dispute arising out of or related to this program shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in India, in the location where TUCSI Foundation or TUCSI Business Ventures operates.
